Itinerary

Day 1Bangalore – Mysore (140 km)

After breakfast proceed to Mysore it is 140 kms and 2.5 hours drive from Bangalore. Arrive Mysore and check in at your hotel
Afternoon visit Mysore Palace, one of the major attractions of Mysore. Then to Mysore Zoo were you can see some of the rare species of wildlife. Evening proceed to world famous Brindavan Gardens expanded over 150 acres. The musical fountain and light show adds attraction to the gardens. Return back to the hotel and overnight stay.

Mysore Palace, also known as Mysore Maharaja Palace is one among the largest palaces in India. It is situated in the city’s centre. . The architecture is a blend of Hindu, Islam, Gothic and Rajput styles. The stunning interior is a display of intricate craftsmanship. While it is a feast to your eyes during daytime, you will be completely mesmerized by the sight of the palace illuminated by over 98000 bulbs in the night.

Mysore Zoo also known as Shri Chamarajendra Zoological Gardens offers wonderful experience. This is one among the oldest zoos in India having been constructed in 1892. The Zoo is spread in a sprawling 250 acres of land and houses stunning range of species.

Brindavan Gardens is situated below Krishnaraja Sagar dam. It is spread across 150 acres of land and it is one of the best gardens in the country. It houses a botanical park and many fountains in various shapes and sizes. The musical fountain is one of its main attractions. To enjoy the colourful fountains, the ideal time of visit would be after sunset.

Day 2Mysore – Ooty (160 km)

After breakfast check out hotel and proceed to Ooty passing through Bandipur and Madumalai forest. Check in at the hotel as you arrive in Ooty. Evening free to enjoy the ambience of hotel and other activities

Overnight stay at Ooty.

Day 3Ooty

After breakfast proceed for a site seeing tour of Ooty. Visit the Doddabeta Peak which is the highest peak of Ooty. From here you will get a very panoramic view of the neighbouring regions. By noon back at Ooty town. Afternoon visit the famous Botanical garden built in 1847 and the Ooty Lake were boating facility is available. You can also try horse-back riding around the lake.

Overnight at Ooty.

Doddabeta Peak: Doddabetta Peak at an altitude of 8,606 feet is the highest point of South India. Located 10 kilometres from Ooty, this peak is a huge crowd puller. The view of Nilgiris from here is breathtaking. Look through the telescope atop the mountain for more spectacular panoramic vistas.

Botanical Gardens: Ooty Botanical Garden, spread over a huge area of 22 hectares and with more than 650 species of flowers and trees, is a horticulturist’s delight. The highlight of the garden is a fossil tree that is believed to be 20 million years old. Another attraction here is the Toda tribe settlement towards the top of the garden. Be privy in to the lifestyle and culture of this tribe during your visit

Ooty Lake: Ooty Lake is a popular destination for picnicking, paddle boating and enjoying Ooty leisurely. Built in 1825, it is a 2.5-kilometre long lake meandering through the scenic beauty of the Nilgiris.

Day 4Ooty – Bangalore (300 km)

Morning after breakfast check out hotel and proceed to Bangalore . On arrival drop at airport/ railway station for onward journey.
